Hi
8 weeks ago I was stopped by an un marked police car and given a ticket by the nice police man (56 in a 40 he said I shoul be notified within 2 weeks whether it would be a FPN or summons for a court appearance.
I have heard nothing since is this usual?

8 weeks is a little longer than normal. That speed should see a fixed penalty although they do have 6 months to prosecute.
If you were given a Traffic Offence Report then I would suggest following up. (Although some might say to let sleeping dogs lie)
