Hi guys ,

New here . Got a quick question.

Do traffic police with the gun out of the window have to pull you if you are speeding?

This was in scotland and they were side on the m74 with the gun out of the window.

Just wanted to know if they had to pull you or not

cheers

No.

As SP says, no. A NIP in the post to arrive with the RK within 14 days is the norm.

If it was a real police car (rather than a camera van) the norm is to stop you at the time, not send a NIP by post, although they can still do.

If you were only just over the speed they enforce from (79mph) then they probably won't stop you but wait for someone doing a more worthwhile speed and you may well hear nothing.
