Can anybody help me
My wife was given a Parking Ticket in Stevenage on the Roaring Meg Retail Park.
She didnt know that there was any restrictions, Their are signs on lamp post after going back for a look.
She was there on Saturday for under 2 hours.
The Parking Fine has come to Me as the Registered keeper of the vehicle.
The Fine is £100 or reduced to £60 if paid in 14 days.
A. Do we Pay this and be done with it?
B. Has any body one any of these fines on this site?
C. They say we entered in to a Contract by Parking there is that so easy to do as to cross the threshold of a piece of land.
D. What should we do?
Cheers in advance.

This isn't a council ticket so it needs moving to the private tickets forum
ParkingEye is responsible for more threads than all the other companies put together
Challenge the notice on the grounds that
1 You do not believe they have the authority to offer contracts
2 The signs fail to meet the requirements of the British Parking Association Code of Practice, were not clearly visible and the driver did not therefore make a contract
3 The amount that they have claimed does not represent a genuine pre-estimate of any loss to their company in a free car car park

+1
At the same time email the contacts on this link and ask if PE have a contract to operate on this site and could you have a copy of the agreement.

Same as every case on here, you appeal and win at POPLA and you also complain to the retailers and the retail management:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=4783240Easily cancelled or easy to win at POPLA. Here's how to appeal:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=4816822Let us know once the retailers cancel it.
