Hi was just wondering if anyone had any info on the new variable speed limit cameras on the Kettering section of the a14, are they on yet and what limit are they set too?

...variable speed limit ... what limit are they set too?

Is this a trick question?

...or do you mean the allowance before enforcement? (Usually +10%+2mph)
BaggieBoy
PGPWS database has a couple of 50MPH SPECS listed but no variable limit cameras.

Thank you for that insightful comment jlc, but the majority of the time if there is a temp speed limit the cameras stay set too the standard limit... Cheers BaggieBoy does this mean they have only listed the limit not the cameras yet? They have literally only just been put up in the past week or so (3 each way (east/west)).
BaggieBoy
SPECS are only used in a fixed limit AFAIK. You mentioned variable speed limits which would suggest HADECS.

jlc's comment was quite correct as you failed to have the "insight" to mention road works but did say "variable speed limit" wink.gif
BaggieBoy comment was also correct.... as road works will usually use specs inforcement which is unlikely to have the threshold change.
so if the limit is say 50 then expect enforcement to be 57ish! but could be less

Thanks for clearing that up guys and yes I did just read what I had wrote, silly me, obviously rushed the post a tad smile.gif
