I know its been asked before, but cannot find it, maybe wrong search parameters, but if a car is travelling in one direction, on a dual cariageway, and cop is on the on slip, on the other side of carriageway, can they get you esp if they are above the height of both carriageways. Logically, I suspect its a straight line so YES, but, if coming round a bend, can that affect reading. Cosine and all that. Went past a cop on Humber Bridge approach at indicated 78ish on speedo. I saw him just after I had glanced at speedo.

Cosine effect is in your favour. Although 78 on the speedo is likely to be under the normal enforcement threshold.
