What's the problem with identifying the driver? It was a week ago? There's a high-bar expectation for the reasonable diligence required to run this as a defence - search for examples (most are unsuccessful).

Is the car yours/you are the RK? Who else was insured to drive it and had access/permission to do so at the date/time?
Well if you are planning to be unaware of who was driving a car a week after the event you better have a very good explanation and excellent evidence you have turned over every stone, this defence is fraught with danger and risks 6 points, a fine and 5 years high insurance.
