Full Version: No PCN on car, have just received NTO
FightBack Forums > Queries > Council Tickets & Clamping and Decriminalised Notices

Hi,

I received a Notice to Owner today for a Penalty Charge Notice that was supposedly given to me on 22/01. However I never got a ticket on my car. There was snow that day so I don't know if that made it slide off or if somebody removed it maliciously.

I'm just wondering how best to appeal this? Will I be able to? The contravention is Code 16: Parked in a permit space without displaying a valid permit. I don't have a permit but I remember paying for a ticket (it was so long ago that I'm unsure if I still have it).

I've attached a picture of the road and bay. Really appreciate any tips.

Thanks

Post up all the NtO, scrubbed of details.

Post up a scrubbed version of all pages of the PCN plus any pictures from the Council that may be on their website.

I would also e-mail them explaining you did not receive a PCN, ask them to send you a certified copy and CEO's notes plus all photo evidence re the original Regulation 9 PCN, as is is known.

Please see attached pics. Not sure what pics are on council website?

Thanks

EDIT: cannot upload images as too big just compressing them now

PCN attached. Shall I do anything else other than email ?

Thanks for advice so far

and see if there are any pictures online

NtO attached rather. Within 28 days of this notice being served adds another day and is unlawful and confusing as they stated it properly on another page.

There are photos of the ticket on my car sad.gif

I definitely didn't get it !! Is there anything I can do now?

Copy the pictures to your computer and host it on here (blanking out the registration)

I've just realised I bought a ticket and it wasn't pay and display! Even though there is a machine across the road so you are allowed to park on one side of the road with a ticket but not the other...don't know if this helps or disadvantages my case...
