Hi all
Some advice needed or rather confirmation please

Last night went to cine world and other food outlets
Parked in a disabled bay completely forgetting to display our completely legit BB (disabled person was with us)
After the film came out to the parking charge ........

Do I simply ignore as per other suggestions or should I start to appeal this as it was simply us forgetting to display the badge?

Simply ignore because you are legally allowed to park there without a Blue Badge. The parking Company won;t admit this, but the BB scheme does not even apply AT ALL on private land (in spite of their signs which may say otherwise).

The law which applies is the Equality Act 2010 and you are protected by that as you are disabled, so you can use a private disabled bay, whether or not you have a blue badge, blue hat, blue car, NONE are needed.
