Original contravention: apr 10
Council: Westminster
TE3 issued jan11


Original fine: 120
Now up to 620ish (200 per visit plus vat)

Car clamped Tuesday in my apartment parking area.

Filed the TE7 & TE9.

The warrant is now on hold and the car is unclamped.

Those rates look way over the regulated charges for most bailiff visits.

Basically i paid the 60 pound intial fine. But paid it a few weeks late. I stupidly didn't respond the TE3 and forgot about it, till i came back to find my car clamped.

Im not sure whether he is a bailiff or a debt collector.

I have emailed my TE7 & TE9. Hopefully will give me some breathing space till i figure out the next steps.

I am guess the council (more likely baliff) will reject the out of time declaration. Guess i will have to hide the car.

Any other advise?
