My wife was charged under S.172 for a speeding offense in the UK while she was abroad.
She certainly gave all the information in her power to give and went further by asking me and viewing the image on line.
I was probably driving, but the pictures were hopeless.
She replied with a signed letter saying she couldn't be certain, but it looked like me, I am the only other person named as a driver on her insurance, the fact that she was out of the country at the time of the offense, the keys were left at home and my contact details.
Case management hearing at Leeds mags today, the prosecutor said something like I don't know why Mrs.sputnik is here today and would be offering no evidence.
Respect to the CPS lady for acting correctly.
