First off what a great site and great information. I am new here though and do require assistance if possible.

I have received a NIP, a snippet of the text in the letter reads:

"for an alleged offence of EXCESS SPEED 50MPH - CAMERA

at A322 XXXXXXXX ROAD, XXXXXXXX, ON 25/09/2009 AT 15:09, sPEED 70MPH"

does this mean I was going 50 mph in excess of the speed limit or that the speed limit was 70? If I was 50 in excess I was going 120!

Help! anyone have any input or suggestions as to what happens next?

Many thanks.
