In feb 2008 I appealed an alleged offence. The last correspondence I received from Lambeth said they would be in touch but I have not heard since. Is this normal and should I let sleeping dogs lie?

Was that an informal or formal appeal?
Alexis
They have 6 months to issue an NTO and 56 days to respond to any Representations you make following this.

Sounds like you're in the clear.

I would still check with the TEC that something hasn't happened that you have no visibility of.
There may be a 'misaddressed' NoR...

This is Scambeth...

Where did you get 56 days from?

February 2008 is pre-TMA and the OP has not mentioned a removal.

Looking at the paperwork it was a NTO. My appeal was on a De minimus (Tyre marginally on kerb). What is TEC?
