Full Version: Driving without due care and attention query!
FightBack Forums > Queries > Speeding and other Criminal Offences
Hi, i just need a bit of advice. I'm up for a conviction for hitting someone in the rear at about 10 mph in stop/start traffic cuz my foot came off the break as i was coming to a stop. Any ideas as to how i can play this one. I might lose my job because of it! Thanks.
I don't see how you can fight this one. You are supposed to be in full control of your vehicle and if you hit someone from behind, you were either too close, not concentrating or not in full control of your vehicle. Any of these would mean you were driving without due care and attention.

I take it the police were called to the scene and they told you at the time they were going to prosecute you.

I don't know if anyone else can give you any better advise, but someone might.
Hey Vicar!

Hope all went well in court today, been thinking of ya!
