Hi im looking for some advice, I was caught doing 68 in a 30 temp limit, normal road speed is 60, it was 23:50 total darkness no roadworks, finished surface on road including white lines empty road dry weather, two police in a volvo hiding on the old road with lights off using a laser gun, is this allowed?? I believe im looking at a ban of seven to seventy days

Yes I was pulled over all they said was that they were unable to give me a fixed penalty due to my speed, I was not shown the gun with the speed on it, they then said I would hear through the post, this was seven weeks ago

yes it can take 8 months to hear

you best deffence is proberly long gone

as very few road works are properly signed, dont suppose you got pictues of the signs, p though there may be issues with the tem TRA which lowered the speed limit

6 Months to lay info before the court, then however long it takes for the court to issue a summons for a free date.
