Full Version: Questions about Pre-trial Review
FightBack Forums > Queries > Speeding and other Criminal Offences
Don Ricardo
Quick background:

After going down the unsigned route, I was summonsed on a speeding charge but not for s172. Pleaded 'Not Guilty' by post, but I now have a pre-trial review on the 7th October.

What happens in a pre-trial review & what will I be expected to do?

FAO Mika:
I know U had sucess with your friend at his pre-trial review. Any tips or advice?

Are you Yorke compliant?

No, all this happened back in May before Y&M.

I filled in my NIP and sent it back, then had the usual bluff & bluster letters with me replying citing DPP v Broomfield & DPP v Pickford.

Hi,

My mate may have been in a different position to you, because I don’t think that they had noticed that he had not signed the Form – he never received any “bluff and bluster” letters, so there wasn’t anything to link him to the unsigned Form.

If you want to fight this, please send me an email, or a private message. icon_wink.gif
