Anyone have any experience of notices issued in England being enforced in Scotland. They are different legal jurisdictions and I think need cross border enforcement orders which are costly. Just a quick query guys

Roffle! biggrin.gif

A PCN issued in England can be enforced in Scotland. The council in England will simply instruct the sheriffs officers to collect.

Not if I try and spend Scottish notes down here no!

Strange but true you need a cross border enforcement certficate to enforce scottish actions in England and vice versa

Just wondered if practically English local authorities bothered

There are big differences between the powers of Scottish Sheriff Officers anb English Bailiffs
