Full Version: Expert help needed on Southend PCN's

We had a query last week from a lady who had her car clamped by bailiff's for payment of an old PCN issued in 2005 by Southend on Sea.

She had no alternative other than to pay the bailiff nearly £600 despite the fact that she had already filed an Out of Time Declaration with TEC. It would appear that either TEC or Southend had made an error in not recording the declaration on their system and this led to JBW attending the home and clamping her car.

We made loads of complaints made and eventually on Thursday JBW were instructed by Southend to refund all of the money and deliver a cheque to her by courier. Southend offered to cancel the PCN.

Despite this, I have requested a "true copy of the original PCN" from Southend of this 2005 PCN, but in the meantime do any of you experts on here know when Southend added the second date in line with Barnet v Adjudicator and subsequent Barnet v Moses.
