When in correspondence with the plod about contesting a charge, is it wise to send all letters recorded delivery instead of normal 1st class?
Do they have a tendency to 'loose' letters and claim they never received them?
Always wise, seldom done.

Together with keeping a) Copies of everything sent to them and b) the envelopes anything from them arrives in - its surprising how sometimes letters seemed to get backdated or do they just take a long time to be posted?

SPECIAL delivery (signed for) is best.....
Problem is with any signed for service. When the destination is of a kind thats attracts many each day, rather than signing for each item one by one they sign for x amount instead.
