Hello Pepipoo users. My father was recently issued a ticket for parking on a single yellow line at 6:47 PM. However, the sign displaying the period of time in which parking was prohibited (before 7 PM) is located at the end of the street on a curve, rendering it impossible for a person to read the content of the sign without crossing the road. The sign, located after the marking on the road that signals the end of the single yellow line, is the only sign on the road displaying the parking limitations on the one-way street in question.
My question is, would it be possible to argue this case successfully, due to the fact that the only sign on the road displaying the limitations is located on a curve at the end of the road? Moreover, the sign is located after the markings for the single yellow line (it is situated on the double yellow line section). Surely the sign has to be in clear view of the people parking there? I have enclosed photographic evidence to help in the assessment of this case.
The only sign located on the street:

My father was parked in the same location as the silver car:

The sign is situated after the tree:

Many thanks.
