Provide a description of events (if you know what happened) telling us as much about the incident as possible - some things that may seem trivial to you may be important, so don't leave anything out. Please do not post personal details for obvious reasons - I honestly dont remember, however I believ it may have been a parked up van at the side of road (camera at rear facing oncoming traffic).

If so I believe I was traveling behind another vehicle at the time, traveling East bound along the A66.

There is a GATSO on the West Bound side of the A66.

The limit is 70mph (National), however lately there have been some road works occurring which have lead to a temporary speed restriction of 50mph in some sections. I was caught allegedly doing 71mph!

You appear to have spotted the camera van but unsure of the driver. Reguest copies of any photographs to help identify the driver. Do not elaborate or use the words evidence or proof. When you get the photo's remove ID and Reg and post on here so we can see it there are errors or odities that may invalidate the ping. The photo will identify how you were caught and hopefully identify the driver or not as the case may be. Your second option is to make an appointment and view the video but this will only be necessary if you relly can not identify the driver. This will add to your reasonable diligence. Pete D
