I recently recieved a ticket, issued by camera, whilst I was sat in my car.
The council have less than 1m 30s of footage, with my headlights on (which means engine must have been running), and me sat in the car (can't see me, but the car then drives off, so I'm guessing I was in there!)
I wrote to them saying "you must be kidding... not a double yellow line... stopped momentarily" etc. Clearly they wrote back saying "we couldn't care less" etc..
Can they actually prosecute me for this? It was a single yellow line zone, and they keep insisting I was "parked", when clearly I had only stopped for a short period of time.
