This case study is a credit to this fantastic forum, without which, I would have 3 points on my clean licence, and a fine in court.

1. 15th Sept, I went thro a red light half a second early-caused no accident-was doing 15MPH. I was caught by a red lightcamera
2. My wife named me as the driver, but 25 days later, by recorded delivery, as advised in this forum.
3. I requested pictures from the camera, 25 days later (now20thNov).
4. The pictures arrve December, and I return my NIP (25days later).
5. In January, I get a letter from theCentral ticket office "as you went thro 25 seconds late, it is an Automatic court appearance"
6. 15th March passes (6 months after the offence, and a Magistrates application must have been filed to proceed (as advised in this forum)
7. 18th March, I phone my local magistrate court and they have no records of my name.

I can not be charged with this offence

Please listen to the advise on this site.
I did nothing wrong in the last 6months other than legitimatly stall a Police system which is close to collapse, and it worked.

No letter
No summonse
