Hi everyone..
My first post...

got another NIP today...
36mph in a 30...
the thing is a few days ago I got another one at the same camera....
37mph..in a 30

It seems I have been caught on 2 mondays in a row..

this will take me up to 9 points (i think) as i already got an avereage speed ticket 6 months ago (45 in a 40..roadworks)..

Any advice appreciated.
I do admit I was speeding. but my job relys on my licence and I have an unblemished record for 27 years till this year..
Now I have a driving job.(aprox 2000miles a month).

I was wondering..does the law allow you to be nabbed again before they let you know you have been nabbed the first time?.

NIP Details and Circumstances
What is the name of the Constabulary? - northamptonshire police
Date of the offence: - 19/3/07
Date of the NIP: - 4/4/07
Date you received the NIP: - 6/4/07
Location of offence (exact location as it appears on the NIP: important): - a34 stamford road(north) geddington
Was the NIP addressed to you? - Yes
Was the NIP sent by first class post, second class or recorded delivery? - Not known
If your are not the Registered Keeper, what is your relationship to the vehicle? - works car
How many current points do you have? - 3
Provide a description of events (if you know what happened) telling us as much about the incident as possible - some things that may seem trivial to you may be important, so don't leave anything out. Please do not post personal details for obvious reasons - Dont actually remember the location as I drive around the country a lot for my job. this is the second nip i have received from this camera in 1 week.(already returned the first one pleading guilty). So i assume that I allready have another 3 points on the way.
This one would give me 9 I assume (or a ban..i am not sure)

Sorry to tell you this, but yes it does.

There was a chap in the papers recently who noticed a flash behind him, so he drove around the block a few times to see what it was. He was caught many times in the space of a few minutes.

1. Fight these NIP's. Don't know how as you haven't given enough info, try the nip wizard.

2. Change your name to Slowpants for three years cool.gif

LOL ..yeah already slowwed down... I know this sounds stupid but generally i am a slowish driver.
just not slow enough leaving 30 zones..
probably the only real place I shouldnt be speeding for safety reasons, I know...

Actually now that I am constantly monitoring my speed I am amazed at how often I "was" speeding by small amounts in low zones..
So the fine have worked..
I just dont want to lose my job..
