I've been "caught" by a camera on the dual carrage way which is the A3024, Maybray Kingway Southampton. Being a stranger to Southampton, I joined the A3024 and for 0.4 miles it was what could be described as 'residential' then for the next 0.3 miles 'urban'. For the whole of the 0.7 miles there were no speed limit signs. At 0.7 there is a speed camera warning sign with a small 30mpg speed limit sign with it, then, less than a lamposts length away there is the speed camera which caught me at 36mph. Can anyone honestly say I have an arguement? If so, can you offer advice please?
