Full Version: Camera flashed at level crossing

I was approaching a level crossing, doing about 35 in a 40 zone when the level crossing light turned to amber, but I reckoned I was too close to stop - it would have meant slamming the brakes on - so I drove on, only for the camera to flash.

Does that mean I'll receive a notice? Have I got any right to protest it if I do?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

Depends what sort of camera it was. They will have 14 days to notify the registered keeper. If you get a NIP come back and do the NIP wizard and we will have a clue

If ultiamately you do get prosecuted, there may well be a defence.
