Hello all!

The driver of a vehicle got a ticket from PPS today for “exceeding marked Bay Area”.

The driver parks in the same car park everyday, the bays are poorly marked some with various lines, or half lines. At this time of year it’s also not unusual for some spaces to be slightly flooded. It’s not unusual for cars to be parked out of bays due to poor marking, tight spaces and big cars. Maybe it’s just topping up the Christmas bonus pot....

Would anyone have any recommendations for the best approach the driver should take to appeal this ticket, £100 is quite excessive for what as quite possibly cost the land owner nothing.

So far all the driver has done is read this forum and has not responded to the ticket.

Thanks for taking the time to read (and hopefully) responding 😃

Do you have any photos of the bays and lines?
Which car park is it.

Can you post up a copy of the PPN with personal details redacted but leave dates.

Is this a windscreen ticket or through the post.

Hi,

I will post photos of the PCN tonight, it’s a private car park opposite Didcot train station (RingGo location 2316). It was a window ticket left for the driver yesterday at 2pm. The Driver took photos when he left his car this morning, almost exactly the same spot and multiple lines (the driver checked they where inside both sets today). More photos of the area can be provided should they be required.

Thanks

Hi again,

Please find attached pictures of the PCN. Apologies for it being 4 pictures but it’s a long piece of paper...

Thanks
