Whilst subcontracting for the Police over the Notting hill carnival, the driver parked in a car park which displayed signage claiming permits required.

As there was only double yellows available on road, the driver parked tight to the entrance to the car park, and was thus only just inside the boundary....

Does the driver have to just suckthis one up and pay opr is there any get out ?

OK so, as ever

What do the signs say? How visible were they? etc. ALL the usual arguments, which your reading of other threads will have clued you into...

I dont think the driver read the signs, but they were very visible for sure.....
