Hi all,

I received a PCN 62 yesterday (Sunday) at 8:51 pm (Really !!)

As a Mancunian who was visiting London, I had no idea this was a law ( I understand this is not a fighting argument). Anyway, I was wondering if there were any grounds for appeal based on any of the evidence they have provided. I only parked in this way as there was no space elsewhere and I did not want to double park and wanted for it to be easier for those at the give way to be able to see past my car - there was also ample room on the pavement for pedestrians to use as shown by GSV:

If there isn't anything tangible, I will hold my hands up and pay the reduced fine and learn from my mistakes. Just thought I would give this forum a shot.

Thanks

"Footway Parking" has been a no-no in all London Boroughs since 1974 and requires no signage. It would appear that you're bang to rights on the contravention, so unless someone can spot something wrong with the PCN wording (I can't) or with the Traffic Order, IMO you'd be best off paying the discounted penalty.

Hopefully our resident Barnet expert Mr Mustard will spot this thread and advise further.

Barnet are so desperate for cash, they have their CEOs patrolling 24 hours a day.

Can't see anything wrong with the PCN.
