I've got a PCN from Lambeth Council. It alleges I failed to comply with a restriction on vehicles entering a pedestrian area and gives the code 53j.
At the entrance to the road I entered there are no signs indicating you're entering a pedestrian zone, simply one solitary no entry sign with NO ENTRY marked on the road.
Failing to comply with a no entry sign is covered under contravention code 51 not 53.
Have I got grounds to appeal or does the 'j' indicate something in relation to no entry signs Lambeth ?
BTW the streetscape around there is incredibly busy visually and to have one single solitary no entry sign with a man watching on a camera up a pole is another example of a council doing the bare minimum signagewise hoping to fill their coffers via unsuspecting members of the motoring public.
