i received a PCN yesterday for stopping at 57-63 Park Road NW1, a red route, but i had stopped on an entrance/exit to a flower shop, in the photo they sent you can clearly see my car on the entrance/exit & not on the red lines, the red lines do not go across the entrance/exit but stop before & start after, has any one come across this before or can advise on how to word an appeal many thanks Darren81.

Red Route lines extend round the sides of the two crossovers:

Think you'll have hard job convincing an adjudicator you weren't on a red route

Plus one.
Technically the red lines ought to be across back of the layby/crossover but substantial compliance is likely to be mentioned.

Actually, no, the lines are where they should be which is along the length of the carriageway, not across it!

The carriageway at this point is a spur which goes into a dead end which effectively is a trancept.

OP, pay the discount.

Yup. Looks like it used to be a petrol station.

Looking at the photos the OP is quite clearly bang-to-rights with the rear of the car right against the double-red lines. Discount is the best option IMHO.

How long did you stop for?

Did the council provide balck & white photos? If so how are you meant to know if you stopped on a red route as alleged?

This is TFL. OP could ask for video and delay the process.

But I agree with the others - best to pay the discount.
