Hi All, som eexcellant news, Westminster, one of the most agressive boroughs with regards to parking, has lost against PATAS regarding the wording of their PCNs

Just saved me £60 sovs. I did not intend to pay anyway but it's good to know that PATAS is supporting me.

Looks like there could be *substantial* problems arising! Most of the councils have probably spent the money already and will have severe budget problems if they need to refund them all.

I completely agree and what with local elections looming and all. Hopefully, Councils won't play so hard and loose with the law in future. It must have been tempting, all that cash, unfortunately it's backfired. It's sad that Councils have misappropriated our funds, it's got to be paid for somehow and that makes me angry. I do believe however, that democracy will e the beneficary and that many of this councils who thought they were untouchable, have been given a bloody nose.
