Howdy,

I got a parking ticket and on the slip its got the colour of my car wrong, not slightly either. They have stated for the colour of my mini as Black but its actually...WHITE!

Do i have good grounds to appeal?

Thanks in advance!

No.

You might have other grounds though if you show us the ticket (all of it).

Grrrrrr! Who!!!???

-------------

I'm surprised at Southpaw's response. Although there is no requirement to put vehicle colour on the PCN Black for White is sufficiently different to throw the observation skills of the CEO into doubt and hence all of his recollection of the circumstances.

Did he say you were parked on a blue line by any chance?

I hardly think that the wrong colour (on its own) casts such doubt. It was probably selected from a drop down menu on the computer and was a simple mistake.

No, not parked on a blue line. (I'm responding on behalf of nippey). Double yellows.

In respect of colour differences it's worthwhile writing and claiming the the observational skills of the warden are suspect. Use it forcefully & there's a good chance it will get cancelled.

LOL.

I think Neil's hinting that we need to see scans of the ticket (minus personal details)!

selected from a drop down menu on the computer and was a simple mistake.

FWIW: Whether such dropdown list was in alphabetic, wraparound or likelihood/commonness order, "black" and "white" are unlikely to be adjacent options. smile.gif
