Because, unless we are happy to see ourselves as morons continuing their slide towards a surveilled police state (inasmuch as we've not already reached that point), we have not only to know that speeding convictions arising from speed camera evidence are unacceptable, but to act upon that knowledge as well.

The problem is that as the law stands convictions from all types of cameras ARE acceptable. Unless you can find a way to make your cases, or even all cases, unprosecutable (it is possible but very difficult) you will be convicted.

Yeah, I can't argue there. If I had the nerve I'd carry out some sort of incitement to civil disobedience!
