Hi,

If you are buying a car privately there is always the risk that a car has been stolen.

Is there a way of finding out if a car has been reported stolen?

Thanks,

Mike

There are several companies that will do car checks for you. The RAC do one as does a company called HPI at www.hpicheck.com

I use http://www.autocheck.co.uk/ they let you buy five checks for £25 (don't have to all be together).
