Hello all ..looking for help ... Got a nip and would like to respond with pace statement but most of the pace advice seems so badly out of date so i ask this ...
If i send a pace statment and they subsequently charge me for a s172 as well can I still claim that I have provided the information required by s172 albeit not on their form ? In effect does it satisfy the requirements of s172 fully ?

Thanks and be quick my "clock" is ticking

The PACE is still up to date, and complies with S172, as shown by Jones V DPP. However many courts aren't taking that as read and you will have a fight on your hands to bend them to your way of thinking. Of course the ECHR ruling is due any time now, so that may well change the issue completely.
