Hi, so I've been "brave" so far and not responded to the first 2 letters from UKPC, the first was a "parking charge" letter stating that my vehicle had stayed longer than the maximum allowed time of 3hrs at Crown Point Retail Park and asking for £60. Second letter was a "notification letter" and as the Registered Keeper I was now liable for £100 payment and stated that if the payment wasn't made or they were not provided with the driver's details, the charge would be passed to a debt recovery agency.

This morning I have received a debt collection notice from ZZPS for £170 and threatening legal action. I have seen advice on numerous forums that say this is a scam and to avoid
responding to any communication and to certainly not notify them of the driver.

Can I have some reassurance from people who have been through this or are in the "know" that this is the best course of action please?

If it helps, I can upload the letters I have received.

You were told the best route to take, and you - despite knowing nothing - chose to instantly dismiss that advice.
Hard to claim you didn't get support.
Bye.
