Hi

I received a PCN from high view parking for £60.
I appealed on the grounds that I am a gym member and even submitted them evidence of my time of entry and exit from the gym. It corresponds with the time that I’m being fined for.
They emailed me back stating that the fine is still enforceable as they can’t find any records of my vehicle. But surely the time of entry and exit will tell them that I used the gym and the car is registered under my name too so don’t understand why they still want me to pay.
I need advice as I have been told by numerous people to ignore it but I am worried that it will impact my credit rating etc.

It wasn’t like I parked the car and went off elsewhere I was on site the gym for its entire duration!
What can I do? Shall I pay it...?

Thank you in advance

What did the gym say when you told them to get it cancelled?

Highview are not currently litigious. Never reveal the driver to a private parking company.

Oh I didn’t tell the gym staff as they didn’t really seem to care about it.
The high view people emailed me asking me for my name and in my naivety I told them.
Does this mean I will have to pay?

It doesn’t mean you have to pay, no, but you’ve done yourself no favours at all, these are not normal reputable companies you’re dealing with.

Get onto the gym, speak to a manager not a desk oik, ask why a member is being fleeced by their agent and insist they get it cancelled or you’ll go elsewhere.

If they have no record of your vehicle then why are they hounding you for money?

That is referring to the ‘approved’ list. (Usually by entering your reg inside the gym)

So, did you enter your req in the gym?

Also your credit rating will not be affected unless you ...
Go to court... and loose.... and fail to pay ...and get a ccj. All of them!
