Hi

My company purchased a parking permit for me for the local council carpark. However I went to my car and noticed I had a ticket on my windscreen. I looked for my parking permit everywhere and found on my windscreen stuck near the dark part making it not as much visible

Is there anyway out of this as they will just say it was not visible.

not sure but I think this is yet another one...

A secure permit holder such as a clip looks like a wise investment

OK, fine, so as per normal, post up the PCN and all other relevant documents and photos. If the permit needs to be there permanently, try finding a tax disc holder, there may still be some on the internet.

OK, the PCN looks kosher. All I can suggest is you submit a grovelling submission stating that the permit had fallen off the windscreen to the floor of the car after you left it, and that you have now purchased a tax disc holder in which to place it, so the offence won't occur again. Also show a copy of your permit in your submission. Hopefully, Newcastle-under-Lyme aren't as venal as Stoke-on-Trent !

No harm in trying, but money rules them, I'm afraid. Anyway, no doubt they are in St Peter's Book of Bad Deeds, so will be refused entry on the Last Day !

You never know I might get the council's discretionary policies by the time it replies.

No, I am not a lawyer.
