Hello there im hoping for some advice in regards to my pcn issued by the council. Basically i parked on a yellow single line with a blue badge. I put 8.25 and the council issued pcn at 11.55. i overstayed the 3 hour restricted time as my mother who has the badge struggled to get back to the car. She was not well and i had to provide her with water and medication. This is the reason for the delay. When i got back i was probably over by 15 mins.
I have since appealed and that was rejected. I wrote back to the council and they replied stating they have taken into the special circumstances but will not cancel the ticket.
Cut long story short this has been sent to bailiffs who are now asking an amount of £500 as oppose to the original amount of £30.
I have contacted the enforcement team but like an idiot admitted i was the driver and that this is causing me stress and anxiety. For now they have put it on hold but i am.afraid they will come and seize assets like my car or from my property.
I have looked at the pics on LCC site and the pic is not clear showing the times for the restricted time. I went to the street and its clear from 8am to 6pm.
Can anyone help me as i am struggling and the anxiety is causing me suicide thoughts.

Oh dear - you must have stepped out of process at some point. We can only try and sort this out if you post all the documents, and it may be best to get help from https://bailiffadviceonline.co.uk

Put pics of docs on https://imgbb.com or such like.

Forget about the yellow line and the PCN - the first step is to address the debt enforcement process.

In council cases it doesn't matter about the driver so also don't think that is an issue. They only pursue the owner, presumed to be the registered keeper of the car.

Hello
Thank you for the quick response. I have uploaded some pics on the site you have recommended. I will also look into the debt process however what can i do to challenge or attempt to go to court.
LCC have wrote back stating as the debt is with Task enforcement they are no longer dealing with the matter. And task cannot write of the debt without LCC permission. Stuck in a dilemma

You have to post the links to the docs!

The process is:

PCN on car
Notice to owner (sent to keeper)
Charge certificate
Order for recovery
Bailiffs

Things go wrong if you got a notice to owner and did not appeal or pay it, and if appealed and rejected, you did not pay or appeal to the adjudicator. Or if you did appeal to adjudicator, lost and didn't pay.

yes but there is only limited space on this site so you'll need to put them on an external site such as the one I mentioned, and post links.

I did not appeal to the adjudicator i kept writing to the council.

That was a big, big mistake. For now upload the documents to an external site like imgur.com or imgbb.com so we can take a look.
