Hi. I live in scotland and receveid a NIP through the door on the 21st July 18 for going through a red light in Glasgow by mistake back in May 18 (reason it took a few months to get to me is due to a house move and took time to update address on license) I went down the route of filling in my details but not signing it (the unsigned route) and posted it 3 days before the 28 days was up.

On the 25th August i received back two letters 1) my old NIP highlighted were i've to sign and 2) new NIP (Requierment to identify the driver - Final Reminder).

My question is what do i do next? i know people normally just receive their old NIP and they just ignore it, but i have received a new one to fill out. So do i fill it out unsigned or do i ignore it?

Thanks

I understand that only the first NIP is the crucial one and anything after that is simply a reminder, so you can ignore it, but I would be inclined to send it back unsigned.

I waited the 28 days and went down the route of filling in my details but not signing it (the unsigned route).

Did you wait 28 days before posting it or did you post it so as it would arrive within 28 days?

(Sigh) So are you saying that The V5C for your "old" car had the "old" address on it up until you disposed of it?
