So my usual route to work was disturbed due to a road closure as part of the new a14 works, so I had to take alternative route along the a1 northbound. Camera appears to be an "average" speed camera of 60mph at buckden I have been clocked at 70 75 and 77 thinking it was a 70 at similar times ranging from 5:25 am to 5:40am, No excuse I know. I currently have 4 points on my license and these have been on for 2 years. This 9 would be me over my 12. What should I do and where do I stand. All help greatly appreciated

You should be offered a course for one of the offences to avoid 3 points (as long as you haven't done one already in the last 3 years). Otherwise, 2 fixed penalties. (3 points £100 each)

It's a long shot but you could ask them to consider it as a single offence - as you did not get notification to adjust. (Although 2 of them are above the highest possible limit in the country anyway)

Fingers crossed on the course ....what are the chances of it being seen as a single offence ? Guessing the lawyer will know when I have a consultation tomorrow.

Fantasy more like. 3 offences in 3 days, I can’t see it as long, more daft really.

There was a case here the other day that surprised me where two offences resulted in a single course.

Don't ask, don't get, but unlikely I agree.

Cost and risk are zero, potential benefot quite big, be foolish not to return them together in one envelope with a 'begging letter'.

I have been clocked at 70 75 and 77 thinking it was a 70

OP. Was there any signage suggesting the limit was 60mph?

I travel that route and a lot. That ASL stretch is between Little Paxton and Buckden and is well signposted IMHO.
