Hi there,
I have read the guides but am not sure how to approach this, the driver received a PCN in the post from Sheriff Enforcer Ltd roughly 9-10 days after the driver parked. The driver still has the valid ticket from when the driver parked, the PCN alleged reason for issue is 'Failure To Clearly Display A Valid Pay And Display Ticket' the ticket was left on the dashboard so I can't see how this can be the case unless it was upside down or the likes but they have provided no evidence to this. The registered keeper of the car is a member of my family, and the PCN is obviously addressed to him. I'm unsure which body they operate under if any at all (e.g are they BPA, IPC) I was wondering should I still use the template in my scenario and if so how would I adapt it to provide the ticket - and if I should? I really don't want to be dealing with the grief of this since I'm a uni student and don't have the money they are asking for! It feels even worse knowing I still have the valid ticket and they are still trying to rinse me of more money. Really hope our government can do something about this! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all. This post has been edited by polymore: Thu, 21 Feb 2019 - 20:36 |

You edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred, use "the driver ..... " etc. Then, as this appears to be Scotland, then just ignore as there is no keeper liability and only the driver can be held liable. If they don't know the driver the they are up that creek without a paddle

They are IPC.
Submit a Subject Access Request for all information they hold, including photos. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
PoFA=Protection of Freedoms Act, SAC=Safety Awareness Course, NIP=Notice of Intended Prosecution, ADR=Alternative Dispute Resolution PPC=Private Parking Company, LBCCC=Letter Before County Court Claim, PII=Personally Identifiable Information, SAR=Subject Access Request Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it. |

No this is not Scotland, the supposed offense took place in England.
I want to submit a SAR but the problem is I can't find their details of the data management officer, I don't think they even have a website. |

No this is not Scotland, the supposed contractual breach took place in England. FTFY -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

DPO Then just write to them, with DPO as the "to" I'd address it to the Data Protection Office. Smaller firms generally won't have a dedicated team dealing with data protection issues, nor have to have a Data Protection Officer (DPO) but they are still obligated to comply with DPA/GDPR. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
