My daughter received a parking ticket for parking on a yellow line. She has apparently always parked there and been ok.
Is there any way out of it? Any help will be gratefully received. |

We have 28 days so there is time. I want to test out this new system of having to ask for a form on which to Appeal which I think is unfair as it cuts down your time in which to Appeal. Please can you phone up for the form (the only time I have asked a motorist to do this the council simply cancelled the PCN and I want to see if that was a one off). I can handle your Appeal. I am at the tribunal tomorrow and one of the arguments on one of my 3 cases is that the council are wrong to say a motorist cannot stop on a yellow line. I've just phoned Barnet, pity I couldn't record the conversation. The officer at Barnet said "They dont send out appeal forms with Formal Notice of Rejection." But will send one out which I should get by Wednesday/Thursday. I will be away for a couple of days, so I'll ask my wife to look out for it. |

With the help of Mr Mustard, the appeal was won. There were several issues including the wrong maps being sent by Barnet, Failure to send out the forms to apply to the tribunal and others.

For those experts who want to read the decision it is 2190483517 - it will be of assistance in any Barnet Council case until the wording of the Notice of Rejection changes.
