It would appear Parking Eye have updated their letter to only say "if" I was driver I am required to pay. They have 2 hopes, Bob and none.

The one above is the second ParkingEye letter.

The one below is the first they send out.

This is the front.

And this is the back.

This is the 4th letter I've received regarding my 'offense' in October '12.

I had all but assumed that PE had given up and I was starting to feel a little disappointed but no, PE saved the day. smile.gif

One thing I don't understand is that it says at the bottom, "the matter may be passed to the 'landholders' solicitor." Does this mean I could be sued by The Range (or whoever owns the land) and not PE ?

How exciting ! wink.gif

"Parking Charge Notice Reminder" across the top

and the wording below the main content is

Hi,

I have received exactly the same pcn from parking eye in tandem centre, colliers wood saying that I stayed for slightly longer than the 3 hour limit.

Am I right in thinking I ignore this at this stage or appeal?

This is the first letter I've received and relates to the incident recently.

I guess I've blown my chances! I replied to the first Parking Eye letter saying I thought I had paid by mobile but must have forgotten/signal failed. So admitting I had parked there. I sent a cheque for the parking fee £8.20. They have returned my cheque saying the cheque is lower than the amount owed. The parking charge has been put on hold for me to send the details. Ie a cheque for the charge of £60. Is it worth ignoring this or have I shot myself in the foot admitting to parking but not having my payment received.

What has happened as from reading and researching they should have accepted your £8.20 and thanked there lucky stars...

Hi I have received a few of these now from Parking Eye. I appealed via the website and received the following rejection letter which I thought would be on interest.

I have not included the POPLA appeal things but can do if people think it is relevant. (it was at the end of the letter).

So i either received 1 or 2 charge letters after which I appealed/whatever via their website.

This is my first post, so please accept my apologies if I mess up.

We received a postal PCN yesterday, our case is very slightly different than the others in that we only went into the car park to drop our son off at meeting in the village hall next door to the car park. it was a cold rainy night, just after 7pm, we pulled up, talked for a short while, leaving the engine running, and he got out of the car. Admittedly we were slightly distracted, we had recently got back from holiday and had not seen him for a while, and we had just been to pick up a 12 week old puppy (who was sat in the back of the car with the boys) we then waved goodbye and went home, apparently we were there for 14 minutes, but we never exited the car or switched it off in this time. My question is, are we still good to ignore this letter or is it best to challenge it? Thanks in advance.

Is there any feedback on this as I've received something similar?
