Lambeth - Salter's Hill - PCN 37j - Failing to Give Way Options

Hi,

Have recieved a PCN 37j from Lambeth - 'Failing to Give Way to Oncoming Vehicles. There is a still photo on the letter, the car was being driven by my wife. It shows heavily congested traffic in both directions. I have tried going to the parkingphotos.lambeth.gov.uk site to see more photos, but all of the thumbnail links do not work, neither does the link to the video. So I have no idea if we should pay for this.

The still image is heavily fore-shortened and I can't judge from that image alone. It feels very unfair as we are extremely careful on this road, as it is notorious. Has anyone succesfully fought a similar notice?

I could post more details of of the PCN here, but have read that councils view some websites, so perhaps I should not for the moment, if I intend to make representations.

Hi All,

I am new in this forum and seen already thousands of cases about the “ Salter’s Hill- PCN 37j- failing to give way”.

It was my first time in Lambeth and I am frankly shocked. I have never seen a notice issued for such purpose and have played the penalty video 100x and still can’t see where I was wrong.
As this case is bigger than me and from what I am reading the council rejects independently all cases, I would like to hear from you if I can challenge my PNC.

You need to start your own thread, so cut-and-paste this into a new thread and advice will be given. Somebody in Lambeth should be in jail for this scam, but don't hold your breath, but looking at the video you would seem to be bang-to-rights, I'm afraid !
