You won’t be getting six points and a 56 day ban, it will be points or a ban. If you get 12 or more points you will be liable to a “totting” ban of six months.

I see no reason why a speeding offence would be disclosed on a DBS check or why anyone would care if it was.

If it was 76 or above court will be the most likely outcome and six points the most likely sentence (provided it was not considerably in excess of 76). When you receive the NIP they will just ask you to name the driver. If they decide to take you to court it may be around six months before you hear anything.
