QUOTE The existing guidelines cover the offences of causing death by dangerous driving, causing death by careless driving under the influence of drink or drugs, causing death by careless driving, causing death by driving whilst disqualified, unlicensed or uninsured, and dangerous driving. I'm somewhat surprised to learn that the current sentencing guidelines do not cover more mundane offences such as speeding. I am less surprised to find things that are deliberately misleading. -------------------- Andy

There is a sentencing guideline for speeding: https://www.sentencingcouncil.org.uk/offenc...g-revised-2017/ |
