Hi All
Just wondering the ramifications of getting caught doing 56 in a 40 zone on a smart motorway, I literally got just a job that involves a lot of driving and now Im really worried. Ive already replied to the letter 'Notice of Intended Prosecution' via the online portal saying that it was me that was speeding. |

£1000 Penalty and 3 penalty points is expected.
Surely they would need your signature, I am wary that you can nominate yourself online with a Portal, I understand it can be used to nominate someone else but not yourself. |

£1000 Penalty and 3 penalty points is expected. Are you sure about that? Everyone other than the OP knows that you meant £100, but that doesn't help the OP... -------------------- Andy
Some people think that I make them feel stupid. To be fair, they deserve most of the credit. |

Oops, my apologises for the extra 0. £100 penalty should be offered along with 3 penalty points. |
