I parked my car on my road, on 23rd Jan 2020, not directly outside my house but approx. 5 houses down, as is a busy road since Islington repositioned Arsenal stadium. Also there is now an Arsenal ticket booth shop across the road, approx. 15 houses down. On 6th Feb 2020, I found my car missing. As I saw a suspension notice for 3rd to 5th of Feb, (which was removed by the time I had walked up and down the road looking for my car) and bollards on the pavement around some builder’s works, I suspected the council moved my car. Unfortunately, they didn’t move it to another space on the same road, but around the corner, which I was informed when I rang the council.
I had to tear off the yellow sticker, the blue one came off easily, as I had an appointment. Do I have any grounds for an appeal? PCN FRONT PCN BACK SUSPENSION NOTICE YELLOW STICKER BLUE STICKER This post has been edited by cc120: Mon, 10 Feb 2020 - 08:53 |

I did once, and thought you'd missed it, so bumped again. Should I upload the GP letter or wait until your further input? I hope you feel better soon. |

Do I have to pay to the address on the 1st page, or can I pay online? This post has been edited by cc120: Wed, 12 Aug 2020 - 06:36 |

Surprised at SSD.
I would ask for a Review. The OP was lawfully parked until such time she became aware of the restriction (because she parked before the Notices were erected). Whilst I appreciate SSD's comments that the OP should have checked her vehicle he overlooks compelling reasons and labels them as mitigation--different animals. Mick |

You must pay the council within the 28 days no doubt on line would be fine but check. You may have a reason for review A debilitating illness is not mitigation rather it is reasons beyond your control. In the TMO that is usually an exemption. I think the adjudicator didn't give enough weight to the fact that your vehicle was only in contravention for a matter of minutes
My advise is pay on time if you ask for and win a review you would be refunded If you want t ask for a review let me know and i will draft something This post has been edited by PASTMYBEST: Wed, 12 Aug 2020 - 08:15 -------------------- All advice is given freely. Yes you apply for a review by e mail to the proper officer at the tribunal The fine will not go up providing you have paid in the 28 days. Some councils allow you to delay payment til after the review but they are not obliged to so i advise paying and getting a refund

I started drafting a review application today whist doing so i looked at the exemption you claimed. Unfortunately the council specifically remove all exemptions for suspended bays
See article 1 at the top of TMO #13 in the councils evidence With that in mind the adjudicator was entitled to find as he did that your medical condition amounted to mitigation only so i do not think it worth while asking for a review because there is no ground to overturn that decision Sorry -------------------- All advice is given freely.
