Hi all
We visited Ruislip Lido (London Borough of Hillingdon) after nearly 1 year to enjoy the weather on a Wednesday evening with our toddler . Only on our return to the car park we realized that the car park is not just free. when checked other cars in the same lane none of them had any parking tickets, so we thought we wouldn't need one. The signs were confusing, it was late to undo anything and no one was around to confirm we left the car park. A week and half later we received PCN for vehicle parked @ M&B -The Water's Edge- Ruslip, Reservoir Road by remaining at the car park without authorisation. I am not sure what to do, any ground to challenge? Appreciate your help. Thank you! [Image removed] This post has been edited by Fredd: Mon, 16 Jul 2018 - 16:56

The signs were confusing In what way? If you remember they were confusing a year ago, presumably you can tell us what they said. Or better still let's see a photo of the signage. A week and half later we received PCN That was a year ago. What did you do when you received it? This post has been edited by peterguk: Wed, 4 Jul 2018 - 10:34 -------------------- |

Anyone here to guide me as Im not good at technicality for fighting these tickets All you need to know is here, saves us typing: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showth...d.php?t=4816822 Thanks for the link it is much appreciated, It wasn't easy to follow all the legal jargon here is my story : We went to the Lido beach, parked to the right of the euro car parks where it says guests parking for "The water Edge". It used be to free for everyone and recently they have change and restricting to the customers only who use their pub "The water Edge". Actually we had couple of drinks with them before going to the beach, very poor service and awful treatment to us as we didnt dine with them. The lady who took our order knew where we parked but still didnt made us aware that we should have given our car registration details to get free parking. I will look for the receipt but since its paid by cash, I doubt Should I be using the template appeal for BPA or IPC members? As I stated its not easy to follow everything so any feedback I hope it be constructive. This post has been edited by Pavy: Fri, 13 Jul 2018 - 15:19 |

Hi Pavy
May I suggest you edit the Notice so it doesn't reveal your vehicle reg. Date of NTD seems to be June this year. The OP isn't talking about a ticket that is a year old from what I see. Just a second language typo perhaps? This post has been edited by GIBZY: Fri, 13 Jul 2018 - 17:36 |

Believe me I tried to edit/delete the picture from the time I noticed but I couldnt figure out, I searched and looked for options, unfortunately nothing worked. I used tinypic to upload , could someone here guide me how to take down the picture or should I delete the post completely, not sure how to do this either? |

There is a button at the bottom of your post that says "Edit". But you only have a certain amount of time allowed to edit. If the edit button has gone then ask the mods if they can help

Updated image,
Visited on 20th June and ticket received in the following week of June 2018. Should I be using the template appeal for BPA or IPC members? The technicalities I dont follow is not admitting who was driving? the letter is addressed after checking with DVLA so why denying I am of course aware how people in the forum are helping amidst their busy life and priorities but given my timeline to send the appeal (my own fault) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you I’m advance |
